			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As we all know, the secret to a great workout is having the right structure. There are literally dozens of great weight lifting routines but its important to know which one suits you best.</p>
<p>Lets begin by saying that you must be clear in your mind with what you want to achieve. Do you want to tone up, lose some fat or increase your body mass? That depends also on your fitness level, you need to be honest with yourself here as there are many weight lifting routines that are for the pros and if you are just starting out a weight lifting routine of this nature would certainly not be suitable.</p>
<p>The thought of working out is extremely daunting for some people and the work involved in getting toned abs or bulging arms puts people off. This is because most people have tried to get into shape but have given up, mainly because they have not been doing the best suited weight lifting routine. Starting a regime that is not suitable or too much for you can dishearten you when the results don&#8217;t come but could even injure you. It is important to talk to a professional and get the help to prepare a plan that is right for you.</p>
<p>Push and pull weight lifting routines are by far my favourite. They are quite simply a mixture of bite size exercises that use pushing and pulling movements. If you choose to do both pushing exercises and then follow straight on to pulling you can do a double workout that is very effective. Even this was too much another option would be to do pushing one day and pulling the next, this too can be effective. My favourite push technique is bench press but leg squats and should press are also good. Shoulder shrugs and deadlifts are great pulling exercises that i perform in my regime. Try and use your body weight and incorporate it into your routine. Use the proper equipment such as benches with pulleys and work your way all the way up until you are using upto 60% of your own body weight in your exercises.</p>
<p>This is a great way to make sure you don&#8217;t overdo it, by starting small and working up as you find the right resistance levels which you can manage. As with any workout or exercise regime, a healthy diet is also essential. Eat well, be disciplined and you&#8217;ll have a great body in no time!</p>

<p>Pushups: For ages exercisers have been employing the pushup to build upper body muscle. But to build chest muscle fast and effectively, learn how to do it properly. Move up and down keeping your body as straight as a rod. You can achieve this by bracing your abs, clenching your buttock muscles, and keeping elbows close to the sides of the body.</p>
<p>Flat dumbbell press: Unlike the regular way of doing it, let your palms face in as you hold the dumbbells with elbows close to the sides of the body. Lying on a flat bench and feet pressing flat against the floor, lift them up and down in a regulated manner.</p>
<p>Incline dumbbell press: Lie on an incline bench set at 30 degrees and perform the dumbbell press as explained in the above paragraph. This exercise works the upper pecs and gives your chest a wholesome look rather than a droopy pecs look.</p>
<p>Dumbbell floor press: Lie down on your back on the floor and follow the same instructions as for the flat dumbbell press. If you have back problems, it&#8217;s better to keep knees bent and place your feet flat on the ground. Otherwise let your legs remain straight out.</p>
<p>Bench press: This is a good exercise for the entire upper body muscles. Lie down on the bench with feet rooted in the ground. Un-rack the bar and begin pressing but with elbows tucked in at 45 degrees to the sides of your body.</p>
<p>Incline bench press: This is similar to the bench press, the only difference is you lie on an incline bench instead of a flat bench. Set the incline between 30 and 45 degrees. You&#8217;ll see that this exercise uses more of your upper chest and prevents the droopy pec look, which is why it should be a part of all muscle building programs.</p>
<p>Barbell floor press: This one boosts overall pressing might. Follow the same instructions as for the bench press but lie down on the floor rather than using any bench.</p>

<p>What is surprising is that the time investment needed in building up muscles and capture some fitness really isn&#8217;t all that much, relatively speaking. In the old days of weight lifting or bodybuilding, it was thought that the more time that could be spent, the better. This is actually not the case for most aspiring athletes, outside of those who really intend to become champion bodybuilders or weightlifters.</p>
<p>Normally, most enthusiast athletes will benefit best from at least three short sessions of weight training a week that are at least 20 to 30 minutes in duration. Most fitness experts also recommend that the weight training that is being done always starts with the larger muscles of the body and then work its way down to the smaller muscles.</p>
<p>For example, when trying to build up the chest muscles, the first exercise that is usually done is the classic bench press. After that, something like obliques with barbells can be done and so on. When it comes to the arms, the bicep muscles should always be taken care of first before addressing the smaller tricep and deltoid muscles. In the legs, take care of the quadriceps muscles through leg extensions and the like.</p>
<p>Once the quads have been addressed, and aspiring athlete might want to do a few sets of leg curls that serve to work on the gluteal muscles and the hamstring muscles located on the backs of the legs. Work down from there to build up the calf muscles, which are more formally known as the gastrocnemius muscles. Basic principles all involve going from large muscle to small muscle and maintaining consistency and correctness of the exercise.</p>

<p>Vince makes it clear that supplements simply do not work. Do not waste your money and time hoping a pill, shake or powder will solve all your muscle-building dilemmas. Most have very small results and only if you are working out every spare moment you get!</p>

If you search on the internet for a muscle-building program, you will also find many choices.</p>
<p>Can Vince Delmonte&#8217;s No Nonsense be the best in muscle building programs? It is highly possible. Both he and Shannon Clark (partner) are in excellent shape and as well-respected fitness experts; they wanted to develop a program that could help you achieve the same results. Some trainers know (in theory) what it takes to be in awesome shape, but fail to see the practicality of others spending so much time in the gym. Vince and Shannon&#8217;s program uses a methodology to minimize time while maximizing results.</p>
<p>The weight loss and muscle-building results are achieved via progressive overload. You may have made the mistake in the past of increasing your reps as you progressed, but what you really need to do is increase the weight. Muscle tissue needs to be challenged in order to build new tissue.</p>
<p>Your body was designed to survive. Your ancestors had body builds that matched their needs. If they used their arm muscles, the body adapted to allow them to continue their job. If they needed to run frequently, their bodies responded to the demand. If the weight became heavier, their bodies built more muscle. See?</p>
<p>So, if your only physical activity throughout the day is typing on a keyboard, your muscle tone would indicate this UNLESS you use body building or other exercise to change your muscle tone. When you lift weights and use progressive overload you are telling your body &#8220;I need to continue building muscle because I am continuing to challenge it.&#8221;</p>
